How is my bike tied down and secured?
We are meticulous with our transportation methods and this is something we have perfected over time. We’ve yet to ever have a single issue whilst transporting any of our customer’s bikes!
All bikes are secured at a minimum of five points with soft, non-marking ratchet straps and front wheel stand, ensuring there is no unnecessary stress to the bike or its paintwork, wiring and fixings. We never tie a bike down on its side stand, your side stand was never designed to take the additional mechanical stress during transit if used. We’re also more than happy for customers to be involved in the tying down process if preferred.
What type of vehicles do you use?
All bikes are transported in professionally kitted out and secure non-sign written vans with no additional markings or indication of bikes being transported inside. Every van has a low loading folding ramp, allowing all bikes to be easily pushed or ridden into the van with ease. No bike big is too big or too heavy.
We don’t and won’t ever use open top trailers to transport any of our bikes.
How many bikes do you carry at any one time?
We don’t overload or pack bikes close together when in transit. Our vehicles are insured to carry 3 bikes at a time, but we prefer to transport 2 at a time. This gives plenty of room to tie the bikes down securely and reduce any likelihood of bikes being marked or damaged in any way. To date, no bike has ever been damaged.
What level of insurance cover do you have?
All bikes are insurened to their full value from the second we lay hands on the bike. What this means is should there be any mishaps before, during or after a bike arrives at its destination, you know it’s covered. If you require proof of insurance and the level of cover we provide we’re more than willing to share on request.
